Welcome! As a whole, the McHenry County HOG Chapter is passionate about motorcycling and tries to do everything possible to reduce the risk level of riding, which in turn, increases the enjoyment level. For example; every member gets a Safety& Group Riding handout, most Chapter Officers and Road Captains carry a first-aid kit in the right saddlebag (bike permitting), we conduct regular safety meetings to discuss all kinds of safe riding topics and organize other safety related courses (CPR, First-Aid, Accident Scene Management) for the membership, each chapter newsletter includes a safety related article, etc. But more importantly, we practice what we preach when out on the road – Safety First! When you have some time, please browse through some of the safety information on this site. Whether it’s new or just a refresher, hopefully it will help you be a safer rider. And check back occasionally because we will provide additional safety information periodically. Hope to see you on the road and Ride Safe!
